Jason Priestley on Rumored Brenda Death: Awesome!

Jason Priestley has signed on to direct at least one episode of 90210.

While the exact date of it, along with the story lines it will focus on, are unknown, the actor recently reacted to a 90210 rumor making the rounds; namely, that Brenda will be given a terminal illness.

"Oh my goodness! This is all news to me, but that's fantastic," Priestley said of the possibility. "Wow, that [would be] awesome. No, they haven't given me anything yet. I don't even know if the episode is written yet! But I love those rumors. That's juicy stuff."

Should 90210 kill off Brenda? Jason Priestley seems to think so.

Jennie Garth Returns to 90210!

Jennie Garth returns to 90210 tonight.

And before she opines on the outcome of her character's trip to visit Dylan, the actress shared her reason for coming back to the zip code that made her famous.

"The fans of the original were so devout for over 10 years - I'm doing this for them," she told The New York Post.

That's sweet and all - but what happened with Dylan?!?

"The trip didn't answer any questions for Kelly," Garth said. "Now, she's open to a new life without Dylan and that's the biggest sign that their time together didn't go as well as hoped."

Does this mean Kelly and Ryan still have a chance? But what about his burgeoning relationship with Kimberly?

Guess we'll need to tune in and find out!

90210 Scoop: Pregnancy (Sort of) Revealed!

We have bad news for Adrianna fans and even worse news for 90210 fans in general:

According to television columnist Korbi, the identity of the soon-to-be knocked up character will be revealed soon.

So, who will it be?!?

"This girl can't catch a break," Korbi recently wrote. "The second things start to look up for her, she seems to be starring in yet another after-school special... As for when it's going down, I'm hearing mid-January."

It's gotta be Adrianna, right?

Remember Me?

We also have sad news about the schedule of 90210:

The November 18 episode will be the show's last until January 6. That's quite the break! Fortunately, Brenda will be appearing in both those episodes.

New Executive Producer: Changes on the Way!

Rebecca Kirshner is the new executive producer of 90210.

The woman in charge recently spoke with The Los Angeles Times about changes in store for the show. Here are highlights from the interview:

What can you tell us about Annie?
We’ve been thinking about her a lot. It’s always tricky to be the central person in any show or narrative, because “the hero” is often surrounded by these colorful characters, so it’s hard. But one thing we’ve been talking about making her a real teenage kid. One with struggles. One who doesn’t always get what she wants.

I think the way you grow up is by not getting what you want and then trying to get it and failing sometimes. Life for Annie has been breezy since moving to Beverly Hills. She’s only had a bit of romantic drama.

So things are going to get tougher for her. She’s had a good streak but there will be more challenges coming that will help define her.

Young Stars

Any particular stories you want to tell?
Right now, I really want to tell a pregnancy story where abortion is mentioned as a valid option. We’ll see. It’s not something I want to back down on.

I also want to do a fun episode that’s all dreams. The original series had a lot of dream-based episodes. I’d like to do an episode where we’re in the interconnected dreams of various characters. I want to write that one, too.

90210 Round Table: Secrets and Lies

Welcome to the 90210 Insiders Round Table!

While fans meet up in our 90210 forum to discuss their favorite characters and developments, our staff members have arrived to analyze the burning questions and memorable moments from the latest episode.

Our topics from the show include Harry's secret, Ryan's punishment and more ...

Should Harry have revealed the truth about his son sooner?
BrendaLova: No. It was a shock to Harry's system, too, when he found out. Nothing wrong with needing some time to process the news before sharing it with the kids.

The Real McKay: Although it's felt like Harry's known this forever, let's not forget it's only been about six episodes! I think it's perfectly fine Harry waited as long as he could and could have waited longer, and,the only reason Harry should even have needed to tell them is to make sure Annie doesn't hook up with her half brother! Cause, eww, that could have been gross.

Wild4Wilds: Maybe. But he was likely distracted by his wife's beauty. I understand.

Was Ryan's suspension too harsh of a punishment?
The Real McKay: No way. Harry's gotta appear tough and keep up the illusion for Kimberly! But let's hope she catches some major thugs to make it worth it 'cause we all <3 Ryan at the Insiders.

Wild4Wilds: As long as he got to go home with Kimberly, why should he care?!?

BrendaLova: Yes. You can reimburse Ryan for salary lost. But how will you ever make up for his soiled reputation at school?
