The series has released a casting call, as it seeks someone to come aboard in the role of Jen Clark. Yes, that would be Naomi's older sister.
Here's how the casting call reads:
Female, 20, Caucasian, hot. A cool, slick, supremely self-confident bad girl who is Naomi's (AnnaLynne McCord) older sister. Jen isn't at all needy or vulnerable-she's totally self-contained and lives by her own rules. Jen's main priority is looking out for number one. She knows how to work the system to her advantage, and she makes no apology for feeling that she's better than most people.
Are you ready to meet Naomi's sister?
Jen was always "the smart one" in the family-she went to Yale and has recently been living in Paris. Her time abroad has made her more cosmopolitan than Naomi, who worships her older sister. Jen's credo is survival of the fittest-she's ruthless, narcissistic and completely amoral. She gets away with all this because she's also beautiful and charming and can wrap men around her little finger.
Jen has dated every rich, handsome man on two continents and has had adventures that are the stuff of great memoirs-but since Jen is also a pathological liar, maybe none of her stories are true. Jen's role in Beverly Hills will be to stir things up and cause trouble for Naomi and others
Last night, 90210 fans were introduced to a beloved actress, best known for her role on Friday Night Lights.
Aimee Teegarden premiered as Rhonda.
The young star was asked about what's to come between her character and Ethan's girlfriend, Annie. Teegarden replied:
"[Her Rhonda character] gets jealous because we're spending time together and she assumes it's something more than it is. There's a standoff coming with Rhonda and Annie!"
Sounds juicy. We can't wait!
Sources close to 90210 have confirmed that Shannen Doherty will appear again this season.
No other details have been released, though speculation has already started about whether or not Doherty will share a scene with former rival Tori Spelling, who is also returning to the famous zip code.
When we last saw Brenda, she was making up with Kelly, while also making an admission: she cannot have children.

As a result, Ryan Eggold recently spoke with a British television network and answered questions about the series;
In your words, what is 90210?
"It's hard to say what it is. People call it a remake, or a spinoff - I don't know what the heck it is! We take the premise from the original show, which is this family moving from the Midwest to Beverly Hills and then being lost in a new world. The basics are all there, and then we add a lot of new storylines, characters and things like that."
Is it fair to say he is the comedic element of show?
"Yeah, he definitely has a lot of humour because he's outspoken and a bit of an outsider in this Beverly Hills world. He calls it as he sees it. While everyone else is playing the Beverly Hills game, he's like 'what the hell are you talking about?'"

What role will the actress portray on the series?
"I play Nika Raygani, who is a student at West Beverly Hills High," Dewulf said. "Nika and Navid meet at a house party and form an instant connection after his friends Dixon and Christina help him approach her."
Tell us more about your character, Noureen:
"Nika is a sweet character who is also of Iranian heritage like Navid, so they have a lot in common. She gets caught up in some drama though so I guess we shall see where she ends up!"
