Might the new 90210 be closer to Melrose Place than the original Beverly Hills 90210?

It sounds that way, according to a pair of television veterans.

Rob Estes and Lori Loughlin, who portray parents Debbie and Harry Milson on the show,  provided a racy preview of their relationship to Extra.

"It's not a mom and dad who are home eating bon bons," Estes, pictured said. "It's a couple who's f%$k!"

Loughlin agreed, adding: "I blush all day long."

Sounds like Rob Estes has a great time on the set of 90210.

Don't call her Cindy Walsh.

While Lori Loughlin has nothing against the original mother on Beverly Hills, 90210, she says that her character of Debbie Millis is different.

"What I love about my character is she's not just the mom that's home parenting — she's got a career!" Loughlin said. "She's a photographer — she's in the workplace. She was making a move from the Midwest to California, so it's about her adjustment to her new lifestyle."

The Mills clan, as a whole, can easily be contrasted with the Walshes, as well.

"It's not the Walsh [family]," Loughlin said. "It's the same premise in the fact that it is a brother and sister moving from the Midwest to California, but other than that, they're not twins. One is my biological daughter [played by Shenae Grimes].

The other is my adopted son, who is African-American [played by Tristan Wilds]. So it's a contemporary family. It's fitting more of what's happening today in families."

While fans of Beverly Hills, 90210 may be excited to see what Kelly Taylor and Donna Martin have been up to - as each character will at least appear on the new 90210 - viewers shouldn't hold their breath for a guest-starring stint by Brenda Walsh.

Lori Loughlin, who plays patriarch Celia Mills on the new series, seems strongly against Shannen Doherty making her presence felt on set. When asked if the actress would make a cameo, Loughlin said:

"I don't think Shannen will. No. I don't think anyone wants to touch that."

Well, Dylan Walsh did. But point taken, Lori.
